Villa Roling - Architecture House

Dutch architect Paul de Ruiter has sent us another completed project, this time it’s the Villa Röling, a waterfront home in the town of Designed sitting at the edge of the lake Westeinderplas The Villa Roling has been done designed by Paul de Ruiter architect located in Kudelstaart, Netherlands. The owner is a work of art collector that got so many collection of paintings and sculptures that want to be placed on their new house residence. On the other hand the landscape of the house is located at the edge of the lake Westeinderplas, is so spendid that it was no option to make a closed volume which would have large wall surfaces for hanging on the paintings but would limit the view of the surroundings. Do not want to loose the beautiful site of the natural site of the surrounding the architect Paul de Ruiter decided to design two contrasting volumes, a transparent glass volume overlooking the lake and the garden, and a floating´ wooden box on top of it for the works of art. Such a great idea and awesome design. well done job. via
