The Barnacle Stool - Chair Furniture

American designer Robert Brou has created and design a beautiful , lovely and unique chair seating furniture called the Barnacle Stool. The unique body design is built over 12/4 (3?) Maple lumber that being laminated together and after that being sculpted with a variety of grinders and sanders. The eleven legs colored purple made this stool furniture cuter. Each leg is set into the body at a slightly canted angle that gives the piece life by suggesting motion. This work is the first to bridge the gap between simpler sculpted forms like the ‘Tree’ table and more complex multi leg forms like the ‘Urchin’ table. via
