Jean Nouvel for Molteni & C has won an award for their furniture collection of The SKiN seating collection. Won for “Best of the Best” at the 2008 Red Dot Design Awards this SKiN seating was born from the brilliant idea of these two designer that wanting to create and design a chair that combine research, technology, design and workmanship at the highest levels. Innovative technology is also applied to this seating furniture, such as its supporting frame in tubular pretensioned aluminum, with foam rubber inserts which act as the base for the structure cover in leather or double face felt, featuring self-modeling geometric incisions.
