Seuthopolis, the city thats built below Sea level

This anchient Bulgarian city from the time four centurys before Christ, was built below the water level of the huge lake it resides in. It isn’t an island, a large dam was originally built around the city, when one of the Dams broke the city was flooded and was not discovered until 1948 during the construction of a new dam, when the lake filled up in 1954 the city dissapeared under water, 20 meters of water.
