EcoWorx was introduced in 1999 as the industry’s first technologically advanced, closed-loop, Cradle to Cradle alternative to PVC backing for carpet tiles. At the end of its useful life, Shaw will pick up the EcoWorx-backed carpet—at no charge to the customer—and recycle it into two materials: more EcoWorx backing, and EcoSolution Q nylon to make into more carpet.
