These solid-core molded-panel interior doors from Masonite have cores made with rapidly renewable wheat straw, are sheathed in an engineered composite made with FSC-certified, pre-consumer recycled wood, and have no added urea-formaldehyde anywhere (including the low-VOC adhesives and binders). They conform to CA 01350’s IAQ requirements, reduce noise transmission over hollow-core doors, and have the heft and feel of solid wood (yet are lighter than particleboard-core doors).
