Alexico Group has hired Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) for its 31-story luxury condominium tower at 67th Street and First Avenue, Richard Rubenstein, president of Rubenstein Public Relations, announced today.
Designed by the renowned Costas Kondylis & Partners, the Laurel is constructed of glass and Indiana Limestone and has earned LEED certification from U.S. Green Building Council. The building’s 129 residences feature high ceilings, radiant heated white marble mosaic bathroom flooring, integrated LCD screen inside bathroom mirror, and Sub Zero and Gaggenau appliances.
The Laurel, in conjunction with Hearst Magazines’ Town & Country, Veranda, House Beautiful and O at Home, has commissioned four top interior designers to create show homes that evoke the beauty and grace of the Laurel.
RPR, which has developed media relations campaigns for some of the world’s most exclusive real estate projects, will generate targeted publicity for the unveiling of the show homes as its initial focus, followed by garnering publicity for the building’s premier amenities such as a bi-level fitness and triathlon training center, which contains the most advanced equipment.
“The Laurel embodies contemporary aesthetics coupled with classic design principles,” said RPR President Richard Rubenstein. “We look forward to unveiling the show homes to the public and securing in-depth coverage of the Laurel’s distinctive features.”
The Laurel’s Trophy Club, a double-height atrium, features a 50-foot lap pool, two resistance training pools, state-of-the-art fitness and weight training equipment and the first residential triathlon training center. Other building amenities include a theater-style screening room, catering kitchen, dining room, double-room atrium, game room, arcade, craft room and multi-media arcade room.
“We are pleased to have the support of Rubenstein Public Relations as we prepare to open this one-of-a-kind building,” said Louise Sunshine, development director of the Alexico Group. www.rubensteinpr.com
