Respected Attorney James List Opens New Baltimore Area Firm

The Law Offices of James A. List, LLC recently opened in Towson, MD at 401 Washington Avenue, Suite 802.

The firm’s founder and principal, James A. List, is a business and estate planning attorney with more than two decades of experience in the legal profession. List has worked in regional and national law firms, as well as served as in-house counsel.

List, who represents companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, aims to be a partner and advisor for entrepreneurs, offering advice from start-ups to succession planning strategies. In the estate planning realm, List works closely with financial professionals to craft creative tax and trust strategies, and spends a considerable amount of time working with and for the developmentally disabled community.

Areas of concentration for List include business law, ranging from contracts, purchase and sale transactions, finance and real estate acquisitions, estate and trust planning and administration, asset protection planning and business succession planning.

The Baltimore County native holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore and B.A. from The University of Maryland. He dedicates a portion of his practice to public service and currently sits on several boards including The Arc of Baltimore, a non-profit serving individuals with developmental disabilities, and The Red Devils, a non-profit committed to improving the quality of life for Maryland patients and families living with breast cancer.
