PureSpectrum, Inc. Relocating and Expanding Offices to Accommodate Growth

PureSpectrum, Inc. is relocating and expanding its corporate offices as interest continues to grow in the company’s patent pending high performance dimming and power factor correction technologies for fluorescent lighting.

PureSpectrum’s corporate headquarters will remain in Savannah, Ga., and the company will maintain an engineering lab in Carolina Beach, N.C. with an additional contracted engineering lab in New York. During the past six months, PureSpectrum has been engaged in ongoing discussions with several major lighting manufacturers, and President and CEO Lee Vanatta said heightened interest from both domestic and international lighting manufacturers will necessitate additional staff to support the company’s efforts.

“As the range of applications for our technologies has continued to broaden, we are experiencing significant interest from the lighting industry, electric utility companies and the investing community,” Vanatta said. “In order to keep pace, we will need to expand our sales and administrative staff to address our widening constituencies. We realize that we are in a very positive position within the industry, but we must continue to adhere to the policies of corporate responsibility and transparency which have carried us to this position. We have assured our shareholders that we will be fully prepared to progress quickly and intelligently in all strategic areas,” Vanatta concluded.

“We developed and implemented a revenue generation plan in the first quarter of this year, and expansion of both personnel and resources was a fundamental component of that plan. As a result of licensing relationships that are developing, the company is transitioning from its research and development phase into a structure that is more fully committed to sales and distribution. The current interest in our technologies among established leaders in the lighting industry is a validation of our team’s vision for this company and this technology, and the move into a larger location is another demonstration of the company’s commitment to long term viability and profitability.”

PureSpectrum’s proprietary dimmable ballast designs enable fluorescent lighting applications to dim in linear regression in the same manner that incandescent bulbs have dimmed for decades. Lighting industry and government energy experts have identified dimming for fluorescent lighting as a critical performance area to be addressed and resolved as the world prepares for the elimination of incandescent bulbs during the next few years.

PureSpectrum is engaged in continuing discussions with several prospective licensing partners, and multiple lighting manufacturers have conducted private performance tests on PureSpectrum’s dimming technology during the past three months. PureSpectrum recently commissioned additional independent testing at the request of potential licensees, and the company continues to refine its technologies based on feedback gleaned from these interactions with lighting manufacturers.
