Poly Seating

The Poly line of modern seating from Metro, a Steelcase company, doesn’t look anything like your uncle’s old leisure suits—but they’re both all about polyester. The lounge, side, and swivel chairs (and matching ottoman) feature organic molded shells, fabrics, and even glue made of pre- and post-consumer recycled polyester: PET (polyethylene terephthalate), the same plastic in soda bottles. These PVC-free chairs are certified as a Cradle to Cradle Silver Product by MBDC, and are 100 percent recyclable through the Steelcase Environmental Partnership Program.
