Palmgren 81081 1/2×42 Belt, 8 Disc Sander, 3/4 HP

Capacitor motors provide extra current during startup and while running under load of this industrial grade sander. The 3/4 HP, 7 amp motor provides more than enough power for sanding wood or grinding metal, even cast iron. The sander accepts either 1in x 42in belts or 2in x 42in belts, disc size is 8in. Belt housing is fixed in the upright position. Two belt platens are included, 1x5in and 2x5in, and can be removed for contour sanding. Two sanding tables are included, the belt table is 10x6in and tilts 0-90 degrees; the disc table is 10x7in, tilts 0-45 degrees, has a scale to show angle of tilt, and includes a miter gauge. Belt speed is 3100 FPM, disc speed 3450 RPM. Base dimension or footprint is 12.5 x 14 in. Two dust collection ports, one on the disc housing, one for the belt, both ports are 1.5 in dia. Motor comes pre-wired for 120v, can be rewired for 240v. Safety switch has removeable lockout. Unit is CSA listed and approved.
