The lot adjacent to the New York Palace Hotel houses the new building designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini: The concept combines contemporary design for the attention to detail and materials, typical of the tradition of Made in Italy. The intervention is developed in four main blocks: the extension of the New York Palace Boscolo Luxury Hotel, which provides sixty new rooms more services and a plan offices. The conference area that provides a large auditorium with more than five hundred seats and adjoining lounge areas and business areas. The conference area is directly related to other areas and business meeting of the New York Palace, and the historic New York Coffee. A ground floor space is a great arcade with five different inputs, it connects the historic hotel by the great boulevard Erzsbet Korut a Rackozi Ut, where stands the new building, accompanying the visitor with sinuous lines, contemporary and enveloping. The final scope of the project is discussed including one hundred and forty residential apartments, of which several duplex with large terraces in the attic floor.

The apartments combine the added value determined by the design of Made in Italy and represented by the architect design lines. Massimo Iosa Ghini, with attention to Italian taste in the care of the details and determining wisely traditional and innovative materials. The residential area of the new building is characterized by the use of glass and metal that brise soleil, moved by the system of movements inside and outside the facade, makes vibrant the project. The richness of this facade is embellished by metal band that embraces the building and that married aesthetics with valences structural dynamics. The facade of the hotel’s rooms has a different logic, given the small section of the road here was designed a metal shell with a view to enabling overlooking vertical and lateral, integrated with the extrusions of wood and the large window of suspended ‘ auditorium, this connotation making it part of building clearly visible.
