New MiniBounce luminaire from Kim Lighting

MiniBounce from Kim Lighting is the new edition to the Bounce collection of pole-, surface- and ground-mounted architectural landscape lighting fixtures. MiniBounce is suitable for use in a wide range of cityscapes, condos, hospitality, corporate, municipal and institutional outdoor environments. These include upscale retail, healthcare, hospitality, corporate office and residential multifamily-complexes.

MiniBounce ensures most light distribution is at ground surfaces, with tightly controlled beam spreads for economical visual comfort. MiniBounce has the same classic lantern design as original Bounce, but in a compact, less unobtrusive design that still integrates with building or site architecture, while providing increased design flexibility. MiniBounce is characterized by a ribbed, die-cast aluminum fixture envelope that allows heat to easily dissipate, thereby extending lamp life. Its broad top hood ensures that maximum illumination is reflected down into a space or area. Four slender support rods visually complement the ribbed fixture head, providing support to the curved top without obscuring emitted light.

MiniBounce employs a high-performance, high-efficiency internal spectral metal reflector for crisp, accurate illumination. The optical chamber is completely sealed and gasketed to prevent contaminant infiltration while increasing lighting efficiency. Illumination is provided by a choice of pulse-start metal halide, standard metal halide, high-pressure sodium or a triple-tube compact fluorescent lamp.

MiniBounce fixtures are constructed of rugged, die-cast aluminum. Low-copper aluminum alloys provide superior corrosion resistance. The optical chamber is die-cast aluminum for strength and durability. The top hood is discretely and securely hinged for ready lamp access, occasional cleaning and relamping when warranted. Concealed stainless-steel captive screws ensure a sophisticated visual aesthetic, while maximizing security.

MiniBounce fixtures are painted in a choice of five standard TGIC thermoset polyester powder-coat finishes; custom colors may also be specified.
