MSB, Enservio Link Speeds Contents Claim Processing

Saturday, November 22nd 2008

Property insurance information provider MSB and contents valuation provider Enservio deliver good news to the property insurance industry. Today the companies announce an alliance for delivering contents valuations for property claims through electronic integration between MSB’s IntegriClaim® property claim estimating solution and Enservio’s contents claims management process. Property insurers leveraging IntegriClaim’s Administrator function are now able to route contents assignments directly to Enservio and receive back completed contents estimates.

MSB, a MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates, Ltd. (MDA) company, is recognized as a leading provider of cost information, and “outsourcing” services to the property and casualty insurance sector. According to Jonathan Kost, MSB’s senior vice president of claims solutions, “Prompt, efficient, and accurate claims processing is critical for policyholder satisfaction and carrier stability. IntegriClaim is a comprehensive solution that assists carriers in each of those areas. This link to Enservio from within IntegriClaim enhances those same capabilities specifically when dealing with contents claims. It gives insurers a single electronic portal through which carriers can complete structural claims work and also outsource all or part of the inventory capture and contents estimate-writing.”

Enservio is a global leader in contents valuation solutions for the insurance industry, providing a complete range of contents solutions including web-based software and field inventory, claim process management, and product replacement. “The insurance industry is quickly recognizing that Enservio’s software and service platform is the best way to handle the $15 billion annual contents claims challenge. By integrating with IntegriClaim, we are able to offer adjusters a best of breed solution for both structure and contents,” said Jim Fini, President and Founder of Enservio.
