Mohawk introduces Encycle carpet backing system

The Mohawk Group introduces Encycle, a patent-pending, modular carpet backing system free of polyvinyl chloride. It is designed with three thermoplastic layers and no water-based components, enabling complete recyclability back into itself without separation.

The new backing system also incorporates thirty-five percent preconsumer recycled content by total product weight and uses twenty-eight percent less virgin raw material.
