Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. Declares Regular Cash Dividend

Anne H. Lloyd, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE:MLM – News), today announced that the Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 (forty cents) per share on the Corporation’s common stock. This dividend, which represents a cash dividend of $1.60 per share on an annualized basis, is payable December 31, 2008, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 2008.
