Low-Flow Sink Aerator

Wednesday, July 23rd 2008

Low-Flow Sink Aerator Ecotech’s Low-Flow Sink Aerator for lavatory faucets incorporates an aeration technology that pulls air in through the side of the unit, boosting pressure while reducing flow to 0.33 gallons per minute—significantly less than the 2.5 gallon-per-minute federal standard for lavatory faucets.

Aerators can be installed for a fraction of the cost of replacing faucets, providing a cost-effective way to save both water and energy.

Depending on ones preferences or needs there are other levels of low flow faucet aerators like a .5 gallon per minute and 1, 1.5 and up from there. There are also low flow swivel aerators that are great for the kitchen. I suggest you check your local hardware store and see what they have available.
