This sprawling district is set along the landscaped boulevards of Logan Square and remains one of the finest sections of the City’s park boulevard system. The district’s buildings are well crafted in a variety of architectural styles. This large single-family masonry residence was built in the early 20th-century with Prairie and Craftsman features. The owners rebuilt a portion of the side masonry wall that had lacked adequate foundations and constructed a new 2-story rear addition, consistent with the original character and style of the existing house. Other work included new landscaping and interior renovations. The Logan Square Boulevards District was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 1, 2005.
