The Design Team consists of Toru Kudo, Koh Kitayama, Mayumi Watanabe of Japanese architecture and interior design studio oru Kudo + architecture WORKSHOP, on 2006 finished one of their work project designing this Kobuchi Apartment. Located Kanagawa, Japan, this 443.56 sqm apartment design to accommodate an urban housing methodology that prioritizes economic performance, this proposal extends the concept of grouped families.

Kobuchi Apartment by Toru Kudo Architecture - 02

Kobuchi Apartment is a four-storey apartment building that comprises steel-structured owners’ residences held above a base platform of reinforced concrete-structured rental apartments, and sandwiched in between is a piloti area with the function of public space.
