Kelowna Selects Canadian Locker for Largest Civic Indoor Water Park

Canadian Locker Company, Ltd., a subsidiary of American Locker Group Incorporated, announced today that the City of Kelowna, BC has selected the Statesman storage lockers for its new $46 million Mission Recreation Park Aquatic Centre. When it opens in April 2009, it will be the largest civic indoor water park in Canada.

The Mission Recreation Park Aquatic Centre, located near the Capital News Centre on Gordon Drive, will be a 8,920 square meter (96,000 sq ft), state-of-the-art aquatic facility with an Olympic-size 50 meter eight lane swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children’s play area, a fitness centre and the largest indoor civic water park in Canada, including a river run, surfing simulator and multiple slides.

The City of Kelowna selected the Statesman locker for its proven reliability, durability and customer service. According to Kelowna’s Development Manager, Reid Oddleifson, “Our new aquatic centre is a world class facility and it was important to us to have a world class locker and security system for our customers.
