CB&I announced that the Isle of Grain LNG project in the U.K., owned and operated by National Grid Grain LNG Ltd., successfully received its first shipment of LNG. Receipt of the shipment is part of the final cool-down and commissioning process.
CB&I is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor on this expansion project, which increased the facility’s capacity to 8.6 billion cubic meters per year, or 12% of the U.K.’s current gas demand.
