Home Comfort Zones’ MyTemp(TM) Now Available Through Partnerships with MH Plumbing & Heating and The Coffman Group.

Tuesday, August 5th 2008

Home Comfort Zones, Inc., manufacturer of the MyTemp energy management and temperature control system, announces the appointment of its first Certified Dealers in Colorado. MH Plumbing & Heating and The Coffman Group consisting of Coffman & Company, B&F Heating, Precision Air and Genesee Heating & Cooling have completed training, and are now certified to sell and install the MyTemp system. The service area of these dealers makes MyTemp readily available in the metropolitan Denver area and across the Front Range, from Fort Collins in the north to Castle Rock in the south.

MyTemp delivers both improved comfort and potential energy savings by providing room-by-room temperature control for residential forced-air HVAC systems. It saves energy by conditioning occupied rooms only as much as needed (efficiency) and by reducing conditioning in unoccupied rooms (conservation). The system is unique because it monitors the temperature in every room and individually controls the airflow to every vent.

MyTemp can be easily installed into most existing homes without changing the HVAC system. The energy savings features of the MyTemp System provides control tools for homeowners to reduce their heating and cooling energy consumption by up to 40 percent.

Hal Alles, the company’s founder and chief technology officer, is a Colorado native and was born and raised in Greeley. “I can speak from personal experience; Colorado’s extreme seasons and unpredictable weather make it the ideal showcase for MyTemp’s unique capabilities” said Hal Alles. “Both MH Plumbing & Heating and The Coffman group of dealers excel at technical expertise and customer service. We are proud to have them representing Home Comfort Zones in the Colorado market.”

“MyTemp is a real game changer” said Mark Holler, president and owner of MH Plumbing. “We have a great deal of experience with radiant heat systems. MyTemp is the first temperature control solution for forced-air heating and cooling that can deliver similar comfort levels at a greatly reduced price. In addition, it can provide the same great results for cooling and it has a fantastic suite of tools for monitoring and conserving energy.”

“With our harsh climate, household temperature control is a constant issue” added Patrick Quinlan, president of The Coffman Group. “We are very familiar with traditional zoning systems and we think that MyTemp offers a significant advancement in both comfort and energy savings. I have the system installed in my home and it’s fantastic. We are excited to partner with Home Comfort Zones to offer MyTemp across the entire Denver metropolitan area.”
