The system only lets the doors open and passengers embark once the bus is parked. The door and window control manufacturer’s Slimdrive SL automatic system was used on the bus bays and four main entrance doors. Other safety features include switches that allow station staff to set the doors to off, one-way traffic, reduced opening and fully automatic modes. Passengers and buses are kept safely on either side of the glass doors at Warrington Interchange by Geze’s induction loop activators.
