The international competition, The Bullhorn – Cembrit Design Competition was finally over. This competition was being followed by nearly one hundred teams of architects and designers from around the world. After being carefully selected by the Jury, The proposal “Papilio” by Swedish architect duo Selime Osman and Ilyas Awadh has taken the first prize, and for their great proposal The winning entry transmorphs fiber cement in a very poetic way into a swarm of light flying butterflies, they won EUR 10,000 (USD 12,770). The brief was to improve life settings in urban transit areas with the Malmi station area in Helsinki, Finland as case.

Here are the top three in this international competition, The Bullhorn – Cembrit Design Competition, and their prototypes are now on show in the “Bullhorn – Cembrit Design Exhibition” together with the other 12 top entries from the competition.
First Prize: Papilio by Selime Osman and Ilyas Awadh (Sweden)
Second Prize: Malmi Waffles by Arklab Sthlm (Sweden)
Third Prize: MDSUPR by Maxim Bataev and Anna Suprunova (Russia)
