Encore® Azalea New Autumn Lilac™ Variety

Encore® Azalea announced the debut of a new variety in its Collection, according to Encore® Azalea developer Robert E. “Buddy” Lee. Encore® Azalea Autumn Lilac™ features a unique, brilliant lavender bloom color and spectacular rich green foliage.

Autumn Lilac’s two-inch wide blooms are accented with dark purple freckles and its lavender bloom color is right in sync with the trend to purple hues in the flower garden for 2010.

The new variety grows to a manageable 3-4 feet tall and wide. Its compact growth habit and consistent rounded shape make it an attractive garden addition even when it’s not in bloom.
