Docks de Paris - Architecture Design

Docks de Paris or a.k.a The Docks of Paris is a contemporary architecture design that has made and created by Jakob+MacFarlane architecture design studio, This architecture building is a long, thin building that designed in concrete at the turn of the last century, that was a depot for goods brought up the Seine by barge. This Docks de Paris was born from a competition to create a new cultural building on the site in paris. Jakob+MacFarlane opted to retain the existing structure and use it to form and influence the new project. The program is a rich mix centered on the themes of design and fashion, including exhibition spaces, the French Fashion Institute (IFM), music producers, bookshops, cafes, and a restaurant. via
