The Migrations line of bio-based composition tile from Armstrong was introduced at the 2007 Greenbuild Conference in Chicago for the 2008 market year. It’s made with BioStride, a corn-based polyester binder, instead of PVC.

Migrations—which is identical to VCT in thickness, tile-size, and maintenance requirements but with twice the indent resistance and more than five times the impact resistance—has been certified through the FloorScore program as complying with California’s 01350 indoor-air quality standards.
