The Mexico City–based architecture design office Productora works in a variety of architectural projects in Mexico and abroad (Asia, South America ) ranging from single family dwellings to office or public buildings. Their work is published nationally and internationally and the office engages continuously in national and international competitions and some of them are received prestigious awards for the great design. One of their recent project is this Casa Diaz located in Valle de Bravo, Mexico.
Since this Casa Diaz by Productora is sitting and adjoins a large lake with sloping plot site, the design of the house is to maximize the advantages of the site. a system of elongated rectangular volumes was used, with one side of each completely open toward the lake. The sloping plot and the amount of surface to be realized led to the creation of three volume stacked in a zigzag pattern, generating spacious open terraces and irregular, sheltered patios between them.
