There are lots of saw stands on the market, but this is the only one we’ve seen that can fold down without removing the saw. Then you just roll the whole assembly away on its solid rubber wheels. But if you do want to take the saw down, it only takes a couple of seconds to release it from the CamLock base. You can slide the saw all the way left or right if you need the outfeed support, too. While anyone would love this stand in the shop, it’s at the jobsite that it rises to the occasion—or lowers itself—on telescoping leveling legs that can accommodate up to six inches of surface difference, perfect for the homebuilder. It’s lighter than you’d expect for a stand that will take on 500 pounds, too. Outfeed support reaches a nice 20-foot length. The CamLock base is universal and should fit any make of saw. Because of that and its fold-down ability, this stand gets our highest score.–Kris Jensen-Van Heste
