Biotrays are biodegradable, temporary trays for preplanted green roof media. Made with coconut husk fiber (coir) bound with natural vulcanized latex, the 17-inch-square, 3-inch-deep carriers not only quicken installation, they provide nutrition for the vegetation when they decompose in 2 to 3 years. Green Roof Solutions provides the media and regionally appropriate plants for the Biotrays, or will consult with professional tradespeople to ensure appropriate use and installation.
