This post is about one of the architecture firm 3XN design project, ‘The Arch’ Cultural Center that was just finished to be built last year and officially opened in April this year. with philosophy Architecture shapes behaviour, with holistic approach, 3XN try to create places where people can interact and communicate and where synergy can grow. This firm believe that buildings, like people, are more than just the sum of their many parts and it is possible to achieve a synthesis of design, function and context. The Arch cultural center is located in the small southern Norwegian town Mandal, ‘The Arch’ Cultural Center claimed to be one of the most attractive place in this town and it will gain so many to visitors with the building design resulted in a facade characterized by panoramic windows facing the river and city.
‘The Arch’ Cultural Center also can be considered as A house of people, since it designed to create a common base for the cultural institutions of Mandal. Thus, This Arch cultural center will accommodate cinema, concert hall, library, gallery and café, offering activities for all ages of the town’s 15,000 inhabitants.
